Savour’s Pure Pistachio Paste is a natural, unsweetened paste made from finely ground 100% pistachios sourced Sicily. With a toasted flavour and an intense aroma, this pure pistachio paste is the perfect base for any type of application including gelatos, ganache, pralines and more. It can also be applied across a number of cuisines and added as a base for savoury sauces.
Application: Can be used to make gelato, cream, mousse, ganache, pralines, sponge cake, biscotti, dessert, and to mix-thru creams and gelato.
The paste may separate over time, stir before use. Due to seasonality and the difference in batches, the overall colour of the paste may vary.
Guest chef, Anthony Hart brings you a petit gateaux recipe which is beautiful in appearance and classic in flavour. A cherry gel and pistachio praline centre with a layer of pistachio cake encased in cherry mousse. Coated in a white chocolate glaze, the petit gateaux sit proudly on a Breton shortbread base and are garnished with white chocolate discs to create a stunning flower.
