ONLINE CLASSES

1.0 Monthly and Annual Subscription TERMS and FEES

1.1 – Online Classes are accessed only by subscription. We only offer monthly or yearly payment plans. These plans cannot be altered or changed in anyway. Refer to the ‘Online Classes’ Tab for our current pricing. Savour reserves the right to change the subscription fee and will provide a minimum of 28 days’ notice for any changes in fees to current subscribers.

1.2 – This is an OPT-OUT SERVICE. This means that money will be debited from your credit card or PayPal account as per your subscription – either monthly or yearly. You must cancel your subscription in order to stop the AUTOMATIC payments. Please refer below under CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS, ‘1. How do I cancel my subscription?’

1.3 – Monthly subscriptions are charged EVERY MONTH on the from the date you first subscribed.

1.4 – Annual subscriptions are charged EVERY YEAR on the anniversary from the date you first subscribed.

2.0 Changes and Cancellations

2.1 You can cancel your Online Subscription at any time by following these 4 simple steps.

Step 1) Log into your account using your email and password

Step 2) Click ‘Account

Step 3) Click ‘Subscriptions

Step 4) Click the ‘Cancel’ button in the ‘Actions’ section

This may take up to 48 – 72 hours (window cancellation period) from the moment you submit this request before your account will be affected. If your bank account is debited during the ‘cancellation window period of 48-72 hours, please email [email protected] for a refund of the amount which was automatically debited.

2.2 – Cancelling your PayPal reoccurring payment through PayPal directly will result in a cancellation of your subscription. This means that if you cancel your PayPal reoccurring payment during your cycle, you will forfeit any days remaining. No pro-rata refund will be issued.

2.3 – If you cancel your subscription during the month or year, you will not be refunded for the remaining days left on your subscription. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Savour Online Classes for the remaining paid days left on your subscription. No pro-rata refund will be issued for this service. You will need to re-subscribe in order to renew your online subscription.

2.4 – We do not pause / put on hold any monthly or annual subscriptions.

2.5 – By accepting the Terms & Conditions outlined by Savour Chocolate & Patisserie School, you acknowledge that payment for an Online Subscription is non-refundable.

2.6 – Savour Chocolate & Patisserie School reserves the right to refuse sale of subscriptions to users, or suspend or cancel subscriptions of users found to be misusing content or breaching these Terms & Conditions.

3.0 Copyright and Distribution Policy

3.1 – All materials posted on Savour Online Classes are copyrighted and remain the property of Savour Chocolate & Patisserie School.

3.2 – Any users found to be distributing or publishing recipes, videos, images and other content from Online Classes without the written consent of Savour Chocolate & Patisserie School will face immediate legal action.

3.3 – Savour Online Classes are for personal use only and cannot be shown in schools, institutions, etc, without written approval from Savour Chocolate & Patisserie School.

SCHOOL

Class Attendance & Student Requirements

All classes will be held at the premises of Savour Chocolate & Patisserie School, which is located at 22 Wilson Avenue, Brunswick, Victoria, 3056, Australia. Information on parking and access to public transport can be found on our Contact Us page. You are required to arrive 10 minutes prior to your start time.

Uniform & Clothing: You must wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe footwear while attending classes. An apron will be provided to you for every day you are attending a class.

Photography: Taking photos are allowed through the school however under no circumstances do we allow video or audio recordings. Savour may take photos or video in the class for marketing purposes. If you wish for Savour to not use your name, likeness, image, or voice, please advise your Chef on the day

Booking Confirmation & Payments

All bookings must be paid in full to confirm your place in the class. Under no circumstances will students be able to reserve a class which has not been paid in full.

Cancellations / Changes of your Class Booking (made by the Customer)

Savour Chocolate and Patisserie School operate a no refund policy and as such we are unable to refund any class bookings where you decide to cancel a class booking 10 days or less prior to commencing your class, as a result of any change in personal circumstances, including medical grounds. No refunds will be given if you have simply changed your mind. If you cancel a class booking more than 10 days prior to commencing your class, this will result in a Credit Note (6 month expiry) which is non-transferrable to retail items or online class subscriptions and you will be charged a $40.00 administration fee to be paid separately.

Cancellations / Changes of your Guest Chef Booking (made by the Customer)

Savour Chocolate and Patisserie School operate a no refund policy and as such we are unable to refund any Guest Chef bookings where you decide to cancel a class booking 60 days or less prior to commencing your class, as a result of any change in personal circumstances, including medical grounds. No refunds will be given if you have simply changed your mind. If you cancel a class booking more than 60 days prior to commencing your class, this will result in a Credit Note (6 month expiry), which is non-transferable to retail items or online class subscriptions.

Cancellations / Changes of your Group Booking (made by the Customer)

Savour Chocolate and Patisserie School operate a no refund policy and as such we are unable to refund any Group bookings including deposits where an attendee or the whole group decide to cancel a group booking 60 days or less prior to commencing the class, as a result of any change in personal circumstances, including medical grounds. No refunds will be given if an attendee or the whole group have simply changed their mind. If an attendee or the group cancel a group booking more than 60 days prior to commencing your class, this will result in a Credit Note (6 month expiry), which is non-transferable to retail items or online class subscriptions. All Group Bookings marked as a Private booking require a further 30 days notice in addition to the above.

COVID-19/Travel Restrictions Policy

Savour follows all current COVID Safe practices. Students who have any symptoms of COVID-19 should not attend Hands-On Classes. Students who test positive for COVID-19 must forward their DHS confirmation to Savour and will be provided with a credit note for a future class. If border restrictions prevent students from attending their booking, credit notes will be provided.

Re-Bookings/ Class Changes & Administration Fee

All class changes/ re-booking made more than 10 days prior to commencing your class will incur a $40.00 administration fee which is payable immediately. We are unable to apply changes / re-book your attendance in a class if you decide to change/ rebook 10 days or less prior to commencing your class, as a result of any change in personal circumstances, including medical grounds. Changes to a class 10 days or less prior to commencing your class will be treated as a cancellation.

Cancellations / Changes of your Class Booking (made by the Savour Chocolate & Patisserie School)

Savour reserves the right to change or cancel a ‘confirmed’ class without notice. While we endeavour to run all classes as scheduled, unforeseen circumstances or insufficient class numbers may lead to a class being cancelled or changed. In the event of a class cancellation or change by Savour, customers will be issued a credit note for the value of their booking, or receive a refund in the same method as payment was taken.

Our Exchange & Refund Policy

We, ‘Savour Chocolate and Patisserie School’ will exchange or refund any item if it is faulty or not as advertised. We do not offer exchange or refunds if the customer has had a ‘change of mind’. We do not offer exchange or refunds on sale items. We do not offer exchange or refunds on items sold as ‘second hand stock’. Please keep your receipt as your proof of purchase.

Shipping Confirmation & Payments

All orders must be paid in full to in order for our Retail Department to ship your goods. Your ‘UNPAID’ order will only be valid for 48 hours until we will cancel the order and send through a cancellation notice. We recommend when ordering through our online retail store that you make payment at the checkout using Credit Card or PayPal. Savour Chocolate & Patisserie School reserves the right to cancel the ‘UNPAID’ order without notice.

During a Sale Period (Longer Processing Time)

Please note that during a sale period, a longer processing time of an additional two (2) business days may apply.

National Deliveries (Australia Only)

Savour delivers items Australia-wide using Australia Post. We aim to have all goods dispatched within 48 hours of receiving your order (except over public holidays). A tracking number for deliveries by Australia Post will be sent to you via email directly from Australia Post.

Standard Metro area deliveries Australia-wide may take approximately 3-5 business days for delivery. Regional / Rural areas may take approximately 5-10 business days (please contact our retail team for more information). If you have not received your order 5 business days (metro) or 10 business days (regional / rural), please contact Australia Post directly quoting your tracking number.

Express delivery to Metro may take approx 1-2 business days for delivery. Regional/Rural areas may take longer, approximately 2-5 business days.

While we do everything we can to ensure your order is delivered in a timely manner, we will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by any person as a result of delay caused by our carrier that we have no control over or by any event which is out of our reasonable control or foresight including but not limited to any delay caused by an incorrect delivery address being provided to us.

International Deliveries (outside of Australia)

Savour can deliver to most parts of the world using Australia Post. Express International shipping may take 5-10 working days. Standard International shipping may take up to 3-4 weeks.

Please note that some ingredients may be stopped by customs and may attract further duties and taxes imposed customs. The customer is responsible for payment of additional customs fees and taxes charged for delivery.Please contact your customs agency in your country to determine whether you are able to import the ingredients you require.

Click & Collect

Our FREE Click & Collect service is available Mon – Fri during standard business hours. Simply shop online, select and add products to your cart then proceed to the check out. Select Click & Collect as the delivery method at checkout.

Once we have processed your order you will receive a collection notification email – normally within 24 hours of placing an order. Please check your junk/spam folders for notification emails. Once notified, collect your order in store at 22 Wilson Ave Brunswick, VIC 3056. Make sure you bring your collection notification or photo ID.

We hold Click & Collect orders for 10 business days from when you receive your collection notification. If you do not collect your order within 10 business days, we will cancel the items and refund the order back to the payment method used when placing your order.

Perishable Goods

Please note that a number of our goods, including chocolate, transfer sheets and other ingredients are perishable and may be affected by high temperatures. Savour is not responsible for any damage due to heat after the goods are dispatched from our premises.

Damage during Delivery

Savour is not responsible for any damage incurred after the parcel leaves our premises or for loss of the parcel by the freight / postal company.

Damaged or Faulty Items

Savour aims to provide our customers with products of the highest standard and quality. If you have received an item with a defect, please contact us at [email protected] to discuss replacement or return of the item. Please note that this does not apply to items damaged during delivery after they left Savour (please see Delivery Information for more details) or damage due to incorrect use.

Warranty on Electrical Equipment

Electrical equipment purchased from Savour, including but not limited to chocolate melting tanks, have a 12 month warranty for repairs for manufacturer’s defects. This warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect usage, general wear and tear or apply to purchases of second-hand goods.
