full-cream milk
200 ml condensed milk
3 eggs
pinch sea salt
pinch cinnamon
2 tsp unsalted butter
1 tsp grapeseed oil
4 slices day-old sourdough bread, crusts removed
2 bananas, sliced thinly lengthways
60g good-quality milk chocolate chips
- Use a whisk to combine the milk, condensed milk, eggs, salt and cinnamon in a bowl before transferring to a shallow dish.
- Place the butter and oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Dip each slice of bread into the condensed milk mixture and place it into the frying pan. Cook both sides until golden brown.
- Arrange a layer of sliced bananas on one piece of bread, then sprinkle with chocolate chips. Place the second slice of bread on top like a sandwich and serve while hot.
